We engineer solutions for a wide range of technical and design challenges. Collaborating with clients on conceptual development and prototyping through final production, we transform product vision into product reality.

From electrical engineering and sensor design, to mechanisms, robotics and materials research, we specialize in building and working with various hardware platforms.

Utilizing a range of expertise from computer vision algorithms to biometric signal analysis and statistical data reduction methods, we create algorithms that make data meaningful.

Whether a project requires re-thinking computer interfaces, the flow of a mobile application, or creating clear and elegant data visualizations, we design for the best possible user experience.

Sean Montgomery
Co-Founder, Engineer
Sean is an engineer and new-media artist. After getting his PhD in neuroscience, Sean brought his background in biology and psychology to the world of engineering. Working in diverse domains from hardware design and engineering to algorithms and mobile programming, Sean is particularly interested in using technology to create new ways for people to interact with one another and the objects around them.

Samuel Cassatt
Co-Founder, Principal Design Engineer
Sam began his career in the Cognitive Neuroscience lab at Johns Hopkins University, creating computational models of the graphemic buffer in an effort to understand how humans think about space and language. The prospect of applying the principles that underly human cognition to industry in pursuit of a creative, transhumanist utopia eventually drew him away from academia and into the labs. Sam now spends most of his time thinking about how technology can disrupt and revolutionize our personal and inter-personal lives.

Peter Drubetskoy
Engineer
Peter is an electrical engineer with a passion for design. After obtaining his MSE in electrical engineering from Princeton University, Peter worked for 6 years as an analyst on Wall Street. Working with SENSORSTAR since 2012, his skills range from circuit analysis to digital signal processing and abstract algorithm logic. Peter balances his engineering with a deep sense of design as a photographer and graphic artist showing in New York City galleries.
